Algas Verdes 2.0

For three weeks we are developing Algas Verdes (Green Algae) version 2.0 (this week is the second). This model has been worked around ideas as symbiotic technologies, green algae culture and near future environments for bio-cities. We want to build a photo-bioreactor prototype that might be used by architecture, urban and domestic. Green Algae transforms CO2 to O2, using in cities and everyday life Algas Verdes 2.0 could be similar to an "air-purifier".

Algas Verdes 2.0 will be exhibited as one part of "inauguration ceremony" of "The district week of science, technology and innovation" (Semana distrital de la ciencia, la tecnología y la innovación) in Maloka (fist of octuber/2010) in Bogotá, Colombia.
